Round Lake Playing For Change Day 2016
Please join us for the 6th annual global Playing For Change Day. This is a day where thousands of musicians and music lovers come together at hundreds of events around the world to celebrate with music and dance, and raise awareness for music education.
On September 24, 2016, the Round Lake Playing For Change Day will feature an inclusive Afro-Cuban drum circle and performance by Ade Knowles and Ensemble Congeros, followed by a performance by Spring Fed, a local band featuring Round Lake resident Brian Gibney and band members Jim McArdle, Dan MacDonald, and Mark Frederick.
Proceeds from the sales of this event will be evenly distributed between the PFC Foundation and the Round Lake Auditorium.
For more information on the Playing For Change Foundation, https://playingforchange.org.
Located in historic Round Lake Village, nestled between Malta, Ballston Lake and Clifton Park, the Round Lake Auditorium offers a full range of cultural offerings. Concerts, performances, art shows, and social activities grace the beautiful, one of a kind 450-seat space.
