WE'RE BACK! DEIDRE MCCALLA, DIANNE DAVIDSON, JAMIE ANDERSON
Dianne Davidson, Deidre McCalla, and Jamie Anderson perform in-the-round for an evening that will easily run the table from gut-wrenching blues to heartbreakingly tender ballads with a bit of humor and grace thrown in for good measure.
Dianne Davidsons soulful vocals will take hold of your heart, turn it inside out, race it around the world on a rip-roaring joy ride, and hand it back to you in a throbbing mass. And you will thank her for the experience. Both solo artist and well-respected back-up singer, Dianne's recorded works have been recently remastered and re-released including the ground-breaking Breaking All the Rules (Olivia/Second Wave). Dianne has worked with an outstanding list of notables including Linda Ronstadt, Tracy Nelson, BB King, Leon Russell and Tammy Wynette. www.diannedavidson.com
Deidre McCalla has been affectionately dubbed the "dreadlocked troubadour" by The Miami Herald. A deeply nuanced songwriter, Deidres music celebrates the power and diversity of daily living with delightful storytelling, nimble guitar playing, and vocals that can be both graceful and gritty. Ms Magazine lists Deidres first Olivia recording Dont Doubt It as one of 25 Classic Womens Music albums. With five critically acclaimed albums and a lifetime of touring under her belt, Deidre McCalla remains the tireless road warrior and has captivated audiences with her warmth and generosity of spirit from Maui to Maine, college coffeehouses to Carnegie Hall. www.deidremccalla.com
Jamie Anderson is a singer-songwriter-comic originally from North Carolina who has beat the emigration rush and currently resides in Ottawa, Canada. A multi-instrumentalist (especially if you count the hula hoop) known for her impromptu outbreaks of wit and whimsy, Jamie has recorded ten albums including the recently released Dare. Oft described as one of the hardest working gals in the biz, Jamie is also a music reviewer for Sing Out Magazine and her hilarious memoir Drive All Night has been published by Bella Books. Jamie Anderson doesn't know anyone famous but she once passed Pat Benatar on a staircase. www.jamieanderson.com
