This summer "of bones || hollye bynum", an emerging film and stage dance production company based in Brooklyn, NY, is adding another production to their roster. "Boundless in Brooklyn: A 48 Hour Dance Film Contest", offers a new and unique platform for artists in various disciplines to create, collaborate, network, and present dance films to an eclectic audience. This contest challenges participants to generate original dance films in two days. "Boundless in Brooklyn" culminates with the "Boundless Screening Gala", presented at the Mark Morris Dance Center, where films made within the 48 hour period will be screened, judged, and awarded. The "Boundless Screening Gala" provides the community with an affordable, exciting, and educational way to view dance film. Join us!

of bones || hollye bynum is a dance film and stage production company based in Brooklyn, NY that seeks to find the parallels between dancer and viewer by exploring the human experience. Ms. Bynum approaches the creation of movement with honesty and simplicity by stripping away extraneous variables yet preserving attention to detail. Stemming from her own experiences, she encourages her performers to conduct a similar personal investigation. Through crafted movement with accessible subject matter, Ms. Bynum offers platforms for audiences to connect with the performers on an intimate level and challenges individuals to be more present, conscious, and aware. of bones || hollye bynum's repertoire includes 19 stage and 11 film works. Since the company launched in 2013, of bones has produced and curated 3 sold out runs of their annual production, mouthfull. at Center for Performance Research in Brooklyn, NY. Recent credits include: choreographic residency at the 14th Street Y Theater, created and produced the International Dance Film Screening, creator of the course, How to Make a Dance Film, choreographer for UNBOUND: an Instagram mini-series produced by InstaMiniSeries and created to promote David Bowie's final album, Blackstar.
