Cynthia Phelps & Friends in Recital
Renowned violist Cynthia Phelps gives a preview performance of Julia Adolphe's Viola Concerto, commissioned by the New York Philharmonic and League of American Orchestras, in recital with piano reduction. Joining Ms. Phelps for this intimate concert is mezzo-soprano Diana Tash and pianist John Novacek in performances of Brahms' Zwei Gesänge, Op. 91 for Alto, Viola, and Piano, and Julius Röntgen's "Lyrische Gänge."
