Champagne Honeybee (Rani Weatherby) Hometown Concert, with Jam Club opening
"Champagne Honeybee," a Seattle-based singer/songwriter better known locally as Rani Weatherby, will perform in a Snohomish hometown concert on Sunday, February 28 at 4pm at the Tim Noah Thumbnail Theater. Opening the show will be the Snohomish High School Jam Club, which is also sponsoring the event. Tickets will be available at the door or through Brown Paper Tickets at $10.
Rani Weatherby, a 2001 graduate of Snohomish High School, was voted #4 in KING 5's 2014 Best of Western Washington in the Best Local Band Category. She has graced the Seattle area and the East Coast with her unique brand of jazz, blues, and ukulele soul. She released an EP of original work called "No Love Songs" in 2014 and is currently working on her second album.
Jam Club consists of young adult musicians and songwriters who are exploring the world of music. Members have appeared at Snohomish Farmers Market, the Evergreen State Fair and at many other venues for more than a decade.
