Thank you for supporting the Jazz Society of Oregon and the Portland Jazz Singers Foundation. Both organizations are 501(c3) non-profit arts organizations dedicated to furthering the advancement of America's indigenous music.

JSO/PJSF Amateur Vocal Contest at Vie de Boheme
A maximum of twelve singers will be selected to compete at the Third Annual Jazz Society of Oregon and Portland Jazz Singers Foundation Amateur Vocal Contest on Sunday, February 7 at Vie de Boheme Restaurant.  Applications are available on-line at www.jsojazzscene.org.  Entrance fee is $25 per contestant. Deadline to apply is January 31, 2016.

*Rebecca Kilgore, George Fendel and Toni Lincoln will be adjudicating.

*Questions can be directed to pdxjazzsingers@gmail.com

* Cover $10

*Each singer will perform Two tunes - one ballad and one tempo tune.
*Singers must provide good lead sheets no longer than three pages in length
*Singers will be accompanied by Blue Prints Trio
*Rehearsal is schedule prior to the event starting at 2:30pm at Vie de Boheme

*If the advance tickets are sold out approximately 20 tickets will be available at the door on a first come first serve basis at $15.
*If you are coming with a group register under one name.
-Venue doors open at 4pm
-Ticket holders are guaranteed a seat, but not a particular seat. If you are coming with friends and want to sit together, please purchase all tickets under one name.
-As we expect a full house, most tables will be shared.
-Vie de Boheme offers beer, an extensive wine selection, and cocktails, as well as a full menu, from starters to desserts.
-Minors are welcome until 9pm
-Wheel Chairs accessible
