The First Tee of East Lake, a program of the East Lake Foundation, is a year round golf and life skills program that serves more than 800 youth, ages 5-17, by providing golf instruction, equipment, tournament opportunities, and mentoring activities. Our chapter is unique in that it is neighborhood based participants must attend the Charles R. Drew Charter School and/or live in the neighboring community to participate. True to our motto "Golf With a Purpose," The First Tee of East Lake strives to provide youth with the tools necessary to help them succeed on the course and in life.
