Ike Willis is an American singer and guitarist who is best known for his work with Frank Zappa. Ike joined Zappa's band in the fall of 1978, worked with Frank in the 1980's and was there for Zappa's final 'Best Band You Never Heard In Your Life' tour in 1988. Ike is most recognized for his involvement in Zappa records such as Joe's Garage, Tinsel Town Rebellion, You Are What You Is, and The Man from Utopia. And, of course, as Thing-Fish.
In addition to working on his own material, Ike has become one of the principal voices in the post-Zappa Zappaverse and currently tours across the world with several Frank Zappa tribute bands including ZAPPATiKA, Ossi Duri, Project/Object, Pojama People and Ugly Radio Rebellion.
