With A Little Help From Our Friends
On Sunday, October 18th, Hudson Valley Hospice Foundation will host their annual Fall Event, With a Little Help From Our Friends, at Bykenhulle House from 2:00-6:00 pm.
"It's going to be a FABulous afternoon, recalling the era of the Beatles with live music by Chain Gang, scrumptious food from Lola's Café and decor by Stems. Our incredible event committee, headed by the incomparable Irene Hunt, has collected a variety of awesome silent and seriously cool live auction items. We are also going to have a photo booth with a 60's vibe, by Hudson Valley Photo and Frame Your Face will be in from Michigan to help us paint John Lennon (www.frameyourface.com). The finished painting will then be up for bidding during the live auction. Be casual chic, groovy, hip or mod and join us at Bykenhulle House in Hopewell Junction, graciously offered for the first time for a major fundraiser." Bykenhulle House is a 15 room Greek Revival style manor house built in the early 19th century by Peter Adriance, a prominent silversmith and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
This year Hudson Valley Hospice will be honoring McCabe & Mack LLP with their Leadership Award, recognizing their long-standing tradition of service excellence, personal integrity and involvement in the community; Todd Baright with their Legacy Award for his long term commitment to giving back to the community; and Heather Cimorelli with their Community Service Award, as she embodies the spirit of community service.
At this time, our major sponsors include Health Quest, McCabe & Mack LLP, Foam & Wash, M&O Sanitation, Feldman, Kleidman, Coffey, Sappe & Regenbaum, Health Alliance of the Hudson Valley, Hudson Valley Credit Union and M&T Bank.
Hudson Valley Hospice Foundation works to raise community awareness and funding in support of Hudson Valley Hospice's services, programs and mission to provide care, comfort and compassion to the men, women and children of Dutchess and Ulster Counties who are facing life limiting illnesses of themselves or a loved one.
