Benefit for Buffalo Field Campaign
Ashland, Oregon represents! on the Buffalo Field Campaign's 2015 Roadshow. BFC Co-Founder Michael Mease makes his annual 30-show West Coast run, educating us about the wild bison of West Yellowstone, with musicians Goodshield Aguilar and Mignon. Mease will show a ten minute video about the BFC's work there in south-west Montana and speak about the bison there and what it means to protect these wild ones.
Our local show will feature the mystic rock music of Freedom with his full band, 8:30-10:30; along with SaraTone, earth tribe gospel from Portland, and folkgoddess Diane Patterson from Santa Cruz, 7:15-8:15. Local musician Phoenix Sigalove will play and co-create the evening, as he has done in years past with the Buffalo Field Campaign. Stellar visuals will be projected on three screens by Johnathan Singer, who recently did the same for the Bay Area Grateful Dead shows! And two deeply talented sacred art painters, Lindy Kehoe and Eric Nez, will paint live for the cause. The creativity happening in the room will surely blow open our hearts and minds. We hope that some young and/or sturdy folks attending will be so inspired that they will travel out to Montana and help the Buffalo Field Campaign to protect this last herd of wild buffalo!
The Wellsprings resort in Ashland will host the event, 6-11pm on September 26th. The mineral hotspring pools there will be open into the evening. There will be high-vibe food and drink available.
