About Muses: Conscious Fashion Studio: Muses is a Seattle-Based non-profit that offers hands-on training in apparel production to unemployed low-income immigrants and refugees. Mobilizing a new generation of apparel makers, Muses elevates and nurtures the existing talents of its students to meet the apparel industry demand for local skilled workers.
About the "True Cost" documentary: The True Cost documentary was filmed in countries all over the world, from the brightest runways to the darkest slums, featuring interviews with the world's leading influencers including Stella McCartney, Livia Firth, and Vandana Shiva, The True Cost is an unprecedented project that invites us on an eye opening journey around the globe and into the lives of the many people and places behind our clothes.
About the Panel: Panelists will be spokespeople from local manufacturers, fashion designers, and apparel workers.
