Doyle Mayfield is an old-guard country star in the Porter Wagoner/George Jones mold, who had a handful of regional hits with his duet partner Debbie (a single mom dolled up like a wannabe Dolly Parton), back in the '70s and '80s. Thirty years, four wives and three Debbie's later, he finds himself back in Nashville at a Lower Broadway honky-tonk for one final attempt to regain his former "glory." When your side isn't hurtin' from laughter, you'll be dancin' in the aisles to songs like "Stock Car Love," "Barefoot and Pregnant," and "Fat Women in Trailers."

Recommended for ages 16+ years old. Contains mild language and adult themes. Note: Any concerned patron should research the show prior to attending.

Performances will be held in The Rives Theatre, 215 E. Church St., Martinsville, VA. Tickets are $12 and may be purchased in advance at the PHCC Switchboard Office located in West Hall on campus, in the Visitors Center located at 191 Fayette Street Martinsville, VA, or purchased online. Please note that online purchasing fees may apply. Tickets will also be available at the door the night of a performance.
