RANDI OLSEN & IZZY MARCIL PERFORMING AT A CELEBRATION BACKYARD CONCERT
Celebration of Women & Their Music is having a house concert featuring RANDI OLSEN with opening act of Izzy Marcil. Join us for an evening of wonderful music from 2 terrific songwriters.
The evening will open with one of Celebrations award winner Izzy Marcil. Izzy Marcil is a singer songwriter who goes to school at Berklee College of Music in Boston MA. She is studying songwriting. Her music is folk pop. She will be entering her junior year this fall.
Randi Olsen is a local songwriter and has been a great supporter of Celebration. Randi gleans inspiration from various musical genres to create a style similar to if Joni Mitchell and Ella Fitzgerald had a love child. Randi takes simple guitar progressions and overlaps them with unique and unexpected melodies resulting in soulful folk originals and covers.
