The Wisdom Shapes Minds Community Development Corporation (WSMCDC) is holding its First Annual Fundraiser and Community Awards Banquet in Newark on Tuesday, October 6, 2015 and it will be THE place to be!
Corporate, faith-based leaders, community activists, visual and performing artists will come together to "raise the roof" for WSM by raising much needed revenue to fund programming, benefiting underserved area youth. So what else is in store? WSMCDC is celebrating its key supporters by paying tribute to those whose selfless contributions have really made a difference in the City of Newark and beyond.

WSMCDC is a 501(c)3 organization dedicated to creating pathways to success for young people throughout the greater Newark community. This is accomplished through a series of academic classroom exposures, mentoring, individualized coaching and through experiential activities to foster critical thinking, financial responsibility ultimately establishing a "blueprint" for a lifetime of achievement.
