Arapaho Valley Ranch Camp Out
Arapaho Valley Ranch is a gorgeous 200 acre property settled at the base of the Rocky Mountain National Forest.  Our property has a private fishing lake and runs along the South Fork of the Colorado River.  We have a historic lodge with Colorado's smallest bar "The Red Dog Saloon", our country store, outdoor decks with astonishing views of the mountains, valleys and rivers, and lots of space to enjoy.
There are many different camping locations to place a tent, camper or RV - and all campers have access to our bathhouse with hot running water, flushing toilets.
We have Glamping Tipis that have Queen log beds, camp kitchens with everything you need to cook and eat, and giant community fire pits for cooking, warming up, or s'mores.
This is our second summer open and we want to introduce you to our lovely operation!

We wanted to create a weekend where locals, families, and travelers could enjoy music and the outdoors in a gorgeous location.
We also wanted to give locals the chance to come check us out and see what we are doing here!!!

Our extended family has been part of the Bluegrass movement for over 40 years now, in Colorado and all over Texas and some of them are traveling from afar to help create this Camp Out - we hope to keep this going for many years so that everyone can come enjoy good music and a great weekend.

This Camp Out will go from Friday August 7th at noon until Sunday August 9th at 5pm.
We will have live music on our outdoor stage from Happy hour until midnight, and there will lilely be picking sessions all over the meadow and campgrounds before and after our stage concerts.
We have a line up of amazing artists that we are so excited to share with you.....

Our headliner is:
Cariboy Mountain Collective
http://www.cariboumountaincollective.com/
Hailing from Nederland, Colorado - this quartet's original lyrics and instrumental compositions present unique facets into americana.
They will play Friday and Saturday nights and will likely join in some of the campsite picking sessions.

AVR special guests/family performances by:
-Bob Siggins and James Field-
Original members of the Charles River Valley Boys with Joe Val. They recorded the famous underground bluegrass album "Beatle Country" in 1965.

-Jim, Bob, Marty Javors, and Pat-
Original members of the Bluegrass Sheiks - the infamous bluegrass band in Boulder, Colorado in the 70's

A few rules to understand.....
~No Dogs this weekend
~No underage drinking
~No personal fires, we have fire pits for use, and we set them
~Smoking only in designated areas
~Campers may bring private alcohol to consume.
~Our bar will be open during designated times, and at these times, personal alcohol may not be consumed anywhere in the Lodge or on the patios, decks, and porch of the Lodge
~Fishing on our private lake is free and limited to two fish per day (otherwise catch and release)
~Fishing on the South Fork of the Colorado River can be accessed from private locations via our hiking trail - for this you will need a Colorado Fishing License:
http://cpw.state.co.us/buyapply/Pages/Fishing.aspx
~Waivers must be signed at the gate upon entry
~All campers must fill out registration form at gate.
~There is no in and out if you are staying with us all weekend - we hope you bring everything you need for the time you are staying with us - we have a store on site, ice for sale, and just about everything you need in case you forgot something - and are happy to help you find anything you need. (unless its an emergency of course)
~We strongly advise if you plan to drink alcohol this weekend, that you stay with us - the 9 mile dirt road to get to our ranch is best driven sober during the day - so leaving at midnight after drinking alcohol is greatly discouraged - find a sober driver and be safe out there!!!
