New England Junglists UNITED w/ AK1200
All Crews! ALL JUNGLISTS!!! One love. Represent for this Special Summer HEAT Edition of our showcase event! Every month we bring together junglists from around the ENITRE region (MA, RI, NH, ME, CT and VT). The goal of these monthly events is to establish permanent bonds, squash beefs and move OUR music forward here in New England and beyond. Grassroots style organization on the local/regional level with our sights set on bringing the best of New England to the rest of the U.S. and the World!
Following-up the success of our first four months of shows featuring all of the best Jungle/DnB Dj's and producers from AROUND New England, we're going BIG to say thank you for all of the love, support and hard work all New England Junglists have put-in while building this thing from the ground up!
We're bringing-in the man who is at least partially responsible for the creation of this group. Through his constant drum and bass evangelism, his dedication and devotion to drum and bass culture in and for the USA, AK1200 is a constant voice and example for the scene, and has spent the majority of his career helping to develop and establish new or unsigned DnB artists, particularly American.
#DNBSTRONG was a phrase coined by AK1200
to describe the growing enthusiasm amongst like-minded artists and fans of homegrown DnB and the culture itself, #DNBSTRONG became a statement for all to once again rise up collectively and bring attention to the music and scene they proudly represent. And served as the spark of inspiration and the basis of many discussions on how to build-up the Drum and Bass culture and bring this thing we do out of the shadows of EDM and to the main stages here in America.
The longest running D&B DJ in the USA, and founder of Big Riddim Recordings, Dave, AK1200, has been a driving force within Drum and Bass culture in America since its inception. From his legendary mix CD's to his extensive list of high profile remixes and original tunes, he has maintained a presence within the scene for more than 20 years. With his explosive sets and constant cheerleading for the DnB community, continues to encourage and inspire new and old fans, DJ's, and artists alike. His ability to bring momentum to every market he performs, and relentless promotion of the scene itself and by delivering the message that no one person is bigger than the scene UNTIED, AK1200 truly is leading by example.
And the regional support for this show is comprised of 3 of the hottest jungle/dnb Dj's in all of New England...

All being brought to you in an AWESOME venue! The Byblos Lounge in historic Worcester MA is INSIDE of the ICONIC Union Station! This ultra-swank Mediterranean Hookah lounge has everything that New England Junglists have come to expect from these events and MORE! We have a Full-Liquor and Hookah Bar, a Kitchen that is preparing a Custom Menu of Unique Appetizers EXCLUSIVELY for this event, not to mention an AMAZING sound system (fully supported and accentuated by 4orce Productions), an outdoor patio with speakers and sound pumped out from the stage so you don't miss a beat, as well as INDOOR parking in the Union Station garage (walk to the venue without going outside)!
