Benefit Concert: Johnny Peña Classical Guitar Recital
Johnny Peña will perform guitar music from Mexico, Spain, Cuba, Germany, and the United States. The money raised at this recital will be used to cover some of Johnny's wife's (Jenny Peña) owed school tuition from Fall 2014, and it will also fund a trip to a guitar competition that he will be attending at the end of June. This concert will also help Johnny prepare his competition music for the GFA International Concert Artist Competition (ICAC) held in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on June 22, 2015.
Who is Johnny Peña?
Johnny has a Bachelor of Music Degree in Guitar Performance from Texas A & M International University under the instruction of Dr. Gilberto Soto and a Master of Music Degree in Guitar Performance from The University of Texas at San Antonio under the direction of Dr. Matthew Dunne.
