Join Thrive Youth Center for a screening of the feature film, "Hedwig and the Angry Inch," Thursday, May 21, 2015! Festivities start at 6:00 p.m. and wrap up around 9:30 p.m. Proceeds go to the Thrive Youth Center and tickets are $20.00 plus a small processing fee.
Join us for a cocktail hour meet and greet with Thrive officers. Buy tickets for a raffle of wonderful prizes. And revel in the amazing John Cameron Mitchell film. All hosted and emceed by fabulous local celebrity Shavonne Conroy, and generously hosted by the Alamo Drafthouse Park North! Have a good time while doing good!
The Thrive Youth Center is a San Antonio non-profit dedicated to fighting the epidemic of homeless LGBTQ young adults. Nationally, fully 40% of homeless young adults are LGBTQ, often on the streets because of family rejection. Thrive provides shelter and rehabilitation in order to give these individuals a chance at living full, healthy, productive lives, with the ability and means to follow their passions and dreams.
With this in mind, we are putting together this fundraiser. Help us to give our clients a fighting chance. Tell your friends, your families, your coworkers. Join us for a raucous good time and give back to your community, all at once! Tickets are limited, so don't delay!
