Sensory Overload. An inspirational film which gives the viewer a peek into the intense levels of sensory sensitivity a person with autism experiences daily.
Beautiful. Two people with developmental disabilities navigate the challenges they are faced when their relationship is displayed in public.
Autism in Love. RV Kuser is a clever and dapper man of 50 with Autism Spectrum Disorder. He has learned to suppress certain behaviors so he can fully embrace life. He and his wife, Marlene, share secrets about their bond and RV reveals the true meaning of unconditional love.
A Life with Aspergers. An animated film that explores the challenges of growing up and living with Asperger's Syndrome. It is a voiceover narrative that demonstrates that Asperger's is not simply "being a little awkward;" rather, it is about adapting to one's limitations in the face of anxiety and isolation.
Keep the Change. A coming-of-age love story about a wealthy young man with social disorders who meets a woman at a group for people with intellectual disabilities.

ReelAbilities, powered by the Jewish Community Center of Northern Virginia, is part of the largest film festival in the country dedicated to promoting awareness and appreciation of people with different abilities. The 4th annual Greater DC festival will feature 18 screenings will be held at more than 15 partner locations. Post-screening discussions and special programs bring together the community to explore, embrace and advocate for our friends, neighbors, co-workers, and families.
