STUDIO 49'S SPRING 2015 PRODUCTION "DIARY OF AN 80'S KID"
Friday May 8th, 7:00pm in the Wendy Williamson Auditorium at UAA is the site of Studio 49's newest production entitled "DIARY OF AN 80'S KID".
This year's dancical takes you back to one of the most radical decades ever! Experience the music, the dancing, the outfits and the hair as you take a journey with the story's main character, Stephanie. She is cleaning out her attic as she prepares to send her oldest child off to collage and discovers a diary from her childhood in the 80's. She relives her experiences as she reads through the entries.
Staring Miss Studio 49, Kaitlyn Yates and the Advanced Company of Studio 49, along with all the Studio 49 dancers, this year's production showcases songs from the 80's, original and remade, 80's inspired costumes and Big Big hair. Join us for an awesome evening of award winning Studio 49 dance and 80's fun!
$10 in advance or at the door for ages 8 & up, 7 & under are free and do not need a ticket.
Also, support our Company dancers in their travels by getting your picture taken at the 80's photo booth, purchasing a delicious cookie from our bake sale and purchasing flowers for your favorite dancer! All proceeds go to the traveling dancers of Studio 49.
