We Aren't Dead Yet! - Atlanta
Join us for this rare opportunity to hear these women's music Americana/Folk artists!
Dianne Davidson got a record contract instead of a high school diploma and went on to release 7 albums including one for Second Wave (Olivia) in 1988. She's worked with Linda Ronstadt, BB King, Leon Russell and Tammy Wynette. Performances include the Philadelphia Folk Festival, the Bottom Line, The Forum and many more. Taking time off to raise her son, Dianne doesn't perform much these days so every appearance is special. Deidre McCalla has been affectionately dubbed a "dreadlocked troubadour" by The Miami Herald. From Maui to Maine, college coffeehouses to Carnegie Hall, she is a much beloved performer in both folk and women's music circles and has shared the stage with a long list that includes Suzanne Vega, Tracy Chapman, Holly Near, Odetta, Cris Williamson, and Sweet Honey in the Rock. With five critically acclaimed albums, Deidre remains the intrepid road warrior and a force to be reckoned with onstage. www.deidremccalla.com
