St. Patrick's Feast Dinner Show
Make this March 17th the most memorable St. Patrick's celebration date night.

Step back in time in an intimate candlelit setting for "St. Patrick's Feast of Food and Dance" Dinner Show. Inspired by the Isles of Ireland and its heritage of folkloric dance, you will enjoy a pre-dinner Irish whiskey crafted cocktails, four-course dinner paired with small batch crafted Irish beers and after-dinner libation while enjoying the authentic Celtic band The Boys of Buncombe with Irish step dance revue.   This supper club music and dance revue is limited to 26 guests for a very intimate experience.

In the classic style of dinner shows, couples are seated side-by-side facing the dance floor.  Exquisite pre-seating Irish whiskey inspired cocktails especially prepared by our bartenders await you in our 1904 Moonshine bar.  Once seated, dinner begins with selected beers paired to compliment your courses.  A four-course dinner is slowly delivered while you enjoy the music and extraordinary dance show.

Our menu offers a vegetarian choice for each course and all menu items are gluten free.

Celtic Band
Boys of Buncombe
The Boys of Buncombe are primarily a Celtic and old-time string band  group specializing in the traditional and contemporary music of Ireland, Scotland, the United Kingdom as well as the descendant variations found throughout the Appalachian south. From ancient ballads to progressive pub tunes, the Boys can create the atmosphere to suit any pint of Guinness. Their style also suits the contra-dance music played at events and festivals from  the Carolinas to New England. Some of the music is elegant, some is humorous and some is down right drivin' hoe-down music. Vastly different from commercial bluegrass, The Boys of Buncombe perform it beautifully and elegantly.
Featuring band members:
Steve Trisman - fiddle
Steve Burnside - guitar and accordion
Jeff Burst - upright bass

About Irish Step Dancing
Irish step dance is a style of dance with its roots in traditional Irish dance. It can be performed solo or by groups. Two types of shoes are worn; hard shoes, which make sounds similar to tap shoes, and soft shoes, which are similar to ballet slippers. Dancers stiffen their upper bodies while performing quick, intricate footwork.

One explanation for the unique habit of keeping the hands and upper body stiff relates to the stage. To get a hard surface to dance on, people would often unhinge doors and lay them on the ground. Since this was clearly a very small "stage," there was no room for arm movement. The solo dances are characterized by quick, intricate movements of the feet.
