If you are looking for a fun thing to do, or a weekend activity near Sacramento, come out and see fast-paced, high impact roller derby in Woodland. This may not be your average family event, but your kids will love to meet and get autographs from their favorite strong female roller derby idols. Roller derby season begins again, and for the season opener Flood Water Roller Derby (FWRD) has teamed with (WARD) to bring fans a roller derby double header.
The bout is located in the fantastic Norcal Indoor Sports arena (1460 Tanforan Ave, Woodland 95776) on March 28th. Enjoy vendors, snacks, beer and a raffle while watching high-impact women's athletics. Doors open at 5:00 p.m. Tickets are $15 in advance or $18 at the door, available at brownpapertickets.com or from your local derby girl. A portion of the proceeds go to benefit the Dry Creek Conservancy and Relay for Life.
