Cinapse Presents: NYC Is Effed: THE WARRIORS / ESCAPE FROM NEW YORK 35mm Double Feature
Cinapse is two years old and we're celebrating with a themed night of 35mm film!

When it comes to the movies, it seems like NYC can't catch a break. Whether it's natural disasters, the man-wrought horrors of nuclear fallout, or just pesky street gangs teaming up to take over the town ("Can you dig it?"), no matter how you shake it... in the not too distant movie future... NYC is Effed.

So let's check out a double feature of two of the all-time greatest "troubled NYC" movies, THE WARRIORS (1979, Dir. Walter Hill) and ESCAPE FROM NEW YORK (1981, Dir. John Carpenter) in glorious 35mm.

WHEN: Saturday, February 28th, 2015. Doors at 6:30pm, Movie #1 at 7:00pm.

WHERE: The Millenium Youth Entertainment Complex (1156 Hargrave Street, Austin, Texas 78702) is a fully functioning 2nd run movie theater with an honest-to-God 35mm projector right in the heart of East Austin. There's plenty of FREE PARKING and there will be affordable hot food and concessions as well, not to mention that the MYEC is also a fully operational Pinballz Arcade location!

BONUS: There will be some killer giveaways and prizes for those who attend and stick around for both screenings!
