Two Bands on a New Stage
One of the oldest continuously used public halls in California, the Tomales Town Hall celebrates the inauguration of its newly restored stage by showcasing two local bands. The Hillwilliams identify themselves as "Hillbillies with Class", doing covers that are true to the artists and sometimes interpreted with a bluegrass twist as well as original works. Jeff Zienowicz on lead guitar/banjo; Bill Wolfe on bass; David Franklin on 6 & 12 string, banjo and mandolin; All the members of the Band also sing.
The Tomales High School Pan Band, the school's premier performance ensemble, is a 20 piece steel drum ensemble, playing soca, calypso, jazz, rock, pop, reggae. The performance will be a fundraiser for both the Pan Band and the Tomales Town Hall.
