Kaitlyn Baker in Concert
Join the KAITLYN BAKER BAND for a two-hour concert at J.W. Adams Combined School, 10824 Orby Cantrell Highway, Pound, VA 24279. Proceeds will benefit the Lunchbox Program, which provides nutritious meals for students who need a little extra help. Tickets are just $10 for ages 11 and up, or $5 for children age 10 and under.
Kaitlyn Baker is a Pound native who records in Nashville, on the Silvercreek Records label. She has an exciting new EP coming soon, through Sony/RED, and two of her songs are already starting to receive national attention. "BURN" is being played by a growing number of radio stations. Meanwhile, her song "COAL TRAIN," which was inspired by Pound, has been selected for inclusion in the 2015 Official Academy of Country Music (ACM) Awards ZinePak, which will be available at Walmart nationwide, beginning March 23.
With touches of Gospel, rock and bluegrass, Kaitlyn's music is influenced by the beauty of the Cumberland Mountains and the rugged coal mining culture in which she was raised. Last year, she taped an episode of the nationally syndicated PBS television concert series "Song of the Mountains," which will air later this year.
If you like country music, reserve your tickets now and join us for an evening of down-home fun, for a great cause!
