Goal of Training
An Eating Disorder is complex and usually has had years to develop before it is diagnosed. In this training session you will learn how genetic, biological, psychological and cultural factors can be the "perfect storm" for someone to develop an eating disorder. The session will link the illness with addiction and substance abuse and explain how the two often co-exist.

The hope is that this training will leave you with the tools necessary to recognize the warning signs and to give families and clients the education they need to seek help on the road to become fully recovered.
