THE Training: Slacker Revolution Maui Edition Join the YogaSlackers and Acro Revolution in their 1st Residential Training in Hawaii. With Sam Salwei, Raquel Hernández, Aaron Lind and Rebecca Genter.
This group of incredible talented AcroYogis will facilitate a 5 day exploration of your potential. Train volcanic popping and H2H skills and develop the refined balance and control that slackline. Spend 5 days in tropical Maui, progressing to the next level with highly experienced teachers who will offer intelligent sequences and refinement to build to higher and higher skills. We will embody the Hawaiian spirit of affection, peace, and compassion all with an aloha smile on our faces!
Training hours will include a full slackline program, progressive intermediate and advanced level acrobatics, and extreme sunbathing and dolphin chasing.

TEACHING TEAM An opportunity to study and train with highly experienced acrobats with international teaching experience. Sam Salwei, Raquel Hernández, Rebecca Genter, and Aaron Lind are highly experienced acrobats with international teaching experience.
YogaSlackers Sam Salwei and Raquel Hernández are well known for bringing their students to their edges and beyond. As modern day nomads, you can find them driving coast to coast, or hopping on a plane to teach overseas. Sam is the co-founder of the YogaSlackers, and has a great deal of knowledge and experience on the slackline, creating amazing spectacles wherever he goes. Raquel's extensive training in different types of Yoga, AcroYoga and Slacklining, makes her a motivating and receptive teacher, great at progressing her students further. With their many combined talents and skills, these two always have something new and exciting to share and together, making them the perfect teaching team.
Acro teachers Aaron Lind and Rebecca Genter bring high level acrobatics and playfulness together to create an exciting and accessible training and performing environment. They train and live in New Orleans where they have built a flourishing and loving community of acrobats. Rebecca draws experience from her former gymnastics background, and as a yoga teacher, as well as a horseback riding instructor. Aaron Lind is a co-founder of Acro Revolution, as well as having received both levels of certification from AcroYoga. He thrives on traveling the world to share his passion for Acro and community building, welcoming any student wanting to learn and grow. Aaron and Rebecca bring a strong intention for student growth, and a wealth of progressions to support their students' embodiment of solid alignment, refined technique, and attuned communication.

PRE-REQUISITES This training will serve as an opportunity to polish your acrobatic skills. During the first day we will review the pre-reqs and move forward from there. Depending on the group skills we might divide into different groups to cover advanced Acrobatics and Slackrobatics. Everyone will have the opportunity to learn from Emily, Sam and Raquel directly. To get the most out of your experience, practice these set of skills beforehand.
You don't need a partner, but acrobatic partnerships are encouraged.
