Les Dames d'Escoffier to Enjoy Crepes and Cider at Bar Breton
Bar Breton New York, NY
Join Chef-Owner Cyril Renaud and Dame Rita Jammet on February 25th in the charming and cozy brasserie surroundings of Bar Breton for a late-afternoon tasting of crepes and cider. Cyril, former executive chef of La Caravelle and past owner of Fleur de Sel, opened Bar Breton in 2008. He has been serving up traditional Brittany specialties from his homeland ever since. Chef Cyril will be making two of his famous crepes: buckwheat galettes with a savory filling and the familiar sweet, thin French pancakes made from white flour. Come and learn all about his crepe-making techniques and enjoy tastings of these Breton delights with sips of one of his favorite varieties of cider.
