In February, Dia presents the 2nd in a year-long series of performances by the Trisha Brown Dance Company, including a variety of works from the repertory of Brown's groudbreaking 40-year career. Moving through different galleries at Dia:Beacon, the program will include "equipment" pieces and several sound works. The performance weekend will be bracketed by a month-long presentation of archival material from the company's collection, including screenings of vintage performance footage.
Note: Museum admission is included with ticket purchase. Tickets are picked up at the door on the day of the performance. Performance tickets are non-refundable. Member discount applicable to current Dia members only. Current Dia members may purchase additional tickets for guests at the non-discounted price. Students must present a valid current student ID at the door. Large bags and back packs are not allowed into the musuem. Photography is not permitted.
