The Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour once again comes to the Yuba Theatre in Downieville. National Geographic & The North Face present this exceptional series of short and feature-length adventure and documentary films that will delight all ages. The historic Yuba Theatre, in charming Gold Rush era Downieville, is the perfect place to view this exciting film series. Screenings are Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, April 9-11, 2010. Each evening will present a different program. Expect 2 1/2 hours of films at each screening, as well as an intermission with refreshments. The traditional door prize drawings for an array of items add to the festivities.
This event is brought to you by the Sierra County Arts Council in cooperation with the California Arts Council.
Note: Youth/senior rate applies to 12 and under or 65 and over.
Each screening (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) is a different program, tickets for each are sold separately.
Friday and Saturday Screenings start at 7:00 pm, doors open at 6:30 pm. Sunday screening starts at 2:00 pm, doors open at 1:30 pm.
