Dengue Fever @ The Chico Women's Club - 2/12/15
Formed in 2001 by brothers Ethan and Zac Holtzman--who were inspired after a trip to Cambodia--Dengue Fever combines psych and surf with vintage Cambodian pop music to create a genre-bending sound. With a Cambodian lead singer, Chhom Nimol, who sings primarily in Khmer, and a backbone of American rock 'n' roll, Dengue Fever's sound is worldy, unique and addictive.
