@ THE LIZARD LOUNGE, 1667 MASS AVE, CAMBRIDGE, 8PM DOORS
Winning this past December's Boston Music Award for "Outstanding Folk Artist of the Year", Miss Tess & The Bon Ton Parade return to their home turf to perform two nights at The Lizard Lounge in Cambridge this December. The current band lineup includes Alec Spiegelman (sax & clarinet), Ben Davis (upright bass), and Matt Meyer (drums). âThis is music cut from a different cloth than the cardboard-stiff newness of more trend driven singer-songwriters, and itâs appeal more closely resembles your favorite pair of jeans: the lovingly broken-in elegance that inspires confident ease.â â Charleston City Paper
Amidst touring the country constantly, Miss Tess has just released her fifth album, Darling oh Darling. The studio album presents an eclectic array of original material, stemming from roots in vintage jazz, swing, blues, folk, and country. It includes performances from many of the area's top musicians in addition to the core band memebers: Lyle Brewer (guitar), Jerry Miller (pedal steel), James Rohr (piano), Jeff Galindo (trombone), Scott Aruda (trumpet), Charlie Rose (banjo). Some of these players will also be performing in the upcoming cd release show.

| If tickets are sold out on line - please do not fret! Additional space will be available when doors open at 8:00 with the purchase of a wristband. Wristbands are $12 and available only one per individual with a valid ID. You must be 21+ to purchase a wristband. The wristband guarantees entrance to that person just as a ticket would. |
