Don't miss this special screening of the
MORGAN SPURLOCK film: 
"SIMPLY RAW:  Reversing Diabetes in 30 Days"

an independent film (by SPURLOCK, producer of the "Super size me" documentary) that chronicles six people with 'incurable' diabetes, switching their diet and getting off insulin.

The film follows each participant's remarkable journey and captures the medical, physical, and emotional transformations brought on by their new eating habits and lifestyle change. 


ZAKIYA ALAKE of Abundance Catering will keep the special menu for this screening All The Way Live with:

~ Raw Veggie Wraps
~ Vegan Maki Rolls
~ Huge Dinner Salad of
  Portobello & Squash Cervich ~ "cooked" in a lime juice,
      ginger and salt bath overnight;
      served on a riot of lettuce, cabbage, carrots and
      bell peppers, dressed with a vinaigrette of extra
      virgin olive oil, lime and mango puree;
            accompanied by a healthy scoop of raw-style,
            seasoned brown rice.
AND for Dessert:
~ seasonal fruit slices with raw cream made from cashews or
almonds


Doors open at 5:30pm
Dinner & Dessert 6 - 6:45 pm
Documentary 7 - 8:30pm
Discussion 8:30 - 9:30ish
          led by Nina LaNegra of The Roxbury Media Institute

Tickets are $20 per person. ($5 movie, $15 dinner)
(Organic beer, biodynamic wine, a wide array of non-alcoholic beverages and gratuities are additional.  Gratuities are much appreciated for our volunteers serving you that evening.)

Notes
Haley House Bakery Cafe is located in the parking lot, opposite the Hamill Gallery on Washington Street, near Dudley Square.  This event is limited to the first 40 ticket holders.
