KAMMERRAKU ALOHA
The Cassatt String Quartet with Yoko Reikano Kimura, koto and James Nyoraku Schlefer, shakuhachi, bringing Hawaii to NYC with the three sextets that were written for the KSA/Cassatt performance on the Honolulu Chamber Music Series. Music by University of Hawaii composers Takuma Itoh, Tom Osborne, and Donald Womack. Plus the New York premiere of Samuel Adler's string quartet number 10 a Fromm commission written for the Cassatt Quartet.
