ROCKtoberfest 2014

The inaugural J2 Brewing Rocktoberfest, a daylong celebration featuring live rock music, good foodand of coursegreat beer, is set for Sat. Oct. 25 from noon 9 p.m. at the Chesterfield Amphitheater, 631 Veteran's Place Dr. in Chesterfield, Mo.

The event, open to adults 21 and older, will be headlined by The Steve Ewing Band (stage at 6pm) featuring the lead singer of The Urge, Band of Misfits (stage at 1pm), and The Matt Rowland Band (stage at 3:30). Together they will help to create a high-energy take on the traditional Oktoberfest. Seven food trucks from the St. Louis Food Truck Association will be lined up and selling some awesome food during this rocking event. Some of the best local beer from Civil Live and 2nd Shift Brewing will be for sale too! You can even sample some of J2's best brews for a donation to KEEN St. Louis.

A percentage of proceeds from the entire event will benefit KEEN St. Louis, a local nonprofit that provides free recreational programs for kids with physical and developmental disabilities.
