VINEYARDS TO VILLAGES Turning Sonoma County Wine into African Water

On September 13, Global Partners For Development will bring a little bit of Africa to Sonoma County's wine country.  Dave Stare, founder of Dry Creek Vineyard and President of Global Partners, organized the evening to celebrate and support the unique partnership that has been built between the wine industry and African communities through the Vineyards to Villages (V2V) initiative.  Through V2V, the Sonoma County wine industry is "turning wine into water" by funding clean water infrastructure, sanitation facilities, and hygiene education for small, rural communities in Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda. Specifically, 100% of proceeds from this concert will go directly to water infrastructure for school children that currently have no access to clean water in Oyugis, Kenya.

Actress, writer, and interesting person, Alexi Wasser (imboycrazy.com), will host the event and introduce the internationally renowned, all-star West African Highlife Band and other special guests.  The concert will be held at The Raven Performing Arts Theater in downtown Healdsburg at 8pm.  Wines from V2V contributing wineries will be served.

A limited number of tickets are available that include a VIP winemaker dinner, front row seating, and the opportunity to meet performers after the show. The dinner will be held at Baci Café and Wine Bar in downtown Healdsburg at 5:30pm, just steps away from the concert venue. Winery owners from Christopher Creek Winery, Williamson Wines, and Viszlay Vineyards will share their stories and pour a few of their boutique, small-batch wines.

V2V contributing wineries include: Bevill Vineyard Management, Christopher Creek Winery, De La Montanya Winery, Deux Amis Winery, Dom Whitney Wines, Dry Creek Vineyard, E. & J. Gallo Winery, Fritz Winery, Hawley Winery, Korbel Winery, Merriam Winery, Pedroncelli Winery, Williamson Wines, Wilson Winery, V2 Wine Group, and Viszlay Vineyards.

Global Partners is a nonprofit organization based in Rohnert Park that works with communities to develop individualized and sustainable solutions to problems related to education, health, and water in Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda.

Question: Will there be a dance floor? if so, does it matter what grade of ticket one has, in order to be able to dance there?
Answer: There Will be a dance floor. The $40 tickets will give you the opportunity to reserve whatever seats in the house you would like
