Youth SEED Intensive Pitch Event
This month, a dozen aspiring social entrepreneurs ages 18-28 are attending the Youth SEED Intensive, a 2 day workshop in which they are developing plans to implement a community benefiting enterprise. Topics covered include:
* Mission and Vision Statements
* Business Model & Strategy
* SWOT Analysis and Strategy
* Professional pitch presentation
On July 29th, participants will pitch their enterprise to a panel of judges from the local business community for prize money and seed funding.
* 1st Place: $1000
* 2nd Place: $500
* 3rd Place: $200
All participants who successfully complete the program and pitch event will also become eligible to apply for a KIVA Zip (interest free) loan and Pollination Project grant!
The Youth SEED Intensive is a preview of the Youth HUB Fellowship, a program Youth SEED is launching this fall in collaboration with United Roots and Impact HUB Oakland. For more information, visit www.youthhuboakland.net
