8 Inch Betsy
8 Inch Betsy is a Chicago-based rock/pop/punk band. The band was first formed in the late 90's by Stephanie Levi, Liz Burke, and Beth Hutchinson, in Tucson, AZ. After some changes and cross country moves, two members of the original band ended up in Chicago. Liz Burke and Stephanie Levi found the singer/song-writer and guitarist, Meghan Galbraith and in 2004 the band began its second life. In September of 2005 they played Estrojam (a music and culture-fest in Chicago) where they shared the stage with The Organ and Amy Ray and the Volunteers. In October of that year they opened for several shows for Amy Ray on her Rocktober tour with the Volunteers. Since that time they have played festivals and shows all over the U.S, toured the west coast, south, and east, signed with Queer Control Records, released an album "This Time Last Time Every Time".
Now part of Furious Affection Records, 8 Inch Betsy is releasing their sophomore album "Mean Days" in 2009. 8 Inch Betsy has played with artists such as The Gossip, Bitch and the Exciting Conclusion, Tender Forever, Team Gina, and Athens Boys Choir. While the members identify as queer, the music itself claims no label. You can also find us on Sonicbids.com/8inchbetsy, Reverbnation, Queerist.com, CDBaby.com, Bandloop.com,Twitter and Last.fm

The Cathy Santonies
Based in Chicago, Illinois, The Cathy Santonies are bringing back simple rock n roll and its about time! Were cocky, loud, full of wild energy, and catchy as hell. Our music is a subversive mix of riot grrrl & cock rocknow dont you wanna hear what that sounds like?
Mojo Santoni bangs out solid, catchy riffs and mind-blowing solos in a way that will make you want to run home to mommy. The bands message of girl rock revolution is impossible to ignore thanks to Radio Santonis powerful and unique voice. And, Mike Johnny Swanko beats the shit out of his drums with a passion and energy reminiscent of a time when rock n roll was new and dangerous. This leads naturally to punk-rawking Jane Danger, whose face-melting fretwork is the glue that ties the rock n roll madness together.
