There are various locations around the world where it is easy to feel a higher energy vibration. Sedona is famous for this, calling each an energy vortex. Colorado also has several energy vortices, include a few in Gilpin County west of Denver (20 miles west of Golden, CO). One vortex is so strong migrating birds have been seen circling for hours as if caught in it's energy field, hikers have been know to lose all sense of direction, and compass needles oscillate. Lady bugs hold their annual gathering on a rock outcropping in this area.

The hike is of moderate difficulty, and will be paced to accomodate those attending. There is about a 700 ft rise in altitude, starting near 9,200 ft. We will be on trails created over a hundred years ago and have become overgrown from non-use, and also be doing some back-country (off-trail) hiking also. There may be a short, gently sloping, boulder field to cross.
Bring plenty of water, snacks, and a sack lunch. Wear shoes or boots appropriate for hiking.
Hike/PlayShop dependent on weather. Full refunds or reschedule in the case of poor weather. Full refunds until 2 days before. Refunds of 80% if cancelledat least 12 hours in advance. Refunds of 60% for same day cancellations or no-shows, only upon request, or can reschedule if space is available.
Tickets are for a single day. Must be at least 15 yrs old. Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a legal guardian. Offered every other week on Mondays & Fridays, June 16 thru September 8, excluding July 4.
