TaikOz is the preeminent Japanese taiko drumming ensemble from Australia.  They travel to the USA for the first time to present one of a kind performances featuring their works for Taiko and Shakuhachi.  These shows are the only ones that prominently feature TaikOz during the Northern California Tour.  Don't miss this special opportunity!

TaikOz: Drawing on their extensive collective experience in Japanese traditional music and dance, symphonic and contemporary music, TaikOz has developed a unique sound and approach to wadaiko. With over 25 original works  including several in combination with
instruments such as shakuhachi, koto, marimba, saxophone, cello and didgeridoo  as well as collaborations with taiko legends Kodo, the Bell Shakespeare Company, choreographer Meryl Tankard and the Sydney Symphony Orchestra, TaikOz presents works that will enlighten, challenge and inspire.
