OSSCS Spring Gala Lunch and Auction: New Growth from Deep Roots
On May 4th, Orchestra Seattle and the Seattle Chamber Singers (OSSCS), an all-volunteer, non-profit orchestra and chorus with a 44-year history, will celebrate its first full season with Music Director and Conductor Clinton Smith. Our Annual Spring Gala Lunch and Auction will bring together our biggest supporters - long-time patrons of live classic music performance in Seattle - at The Canal in Ballard for wine, champagne, hors d'oeuvres and a buffet lunch on the canal waterfront!
We need your support to keep the experience of live classical music abundant and affordable in Seattle! This Springtime celebration of rejuvenation will feature a wide selection of wonderful auction items at a steal from our generous business and individual sponsors for you to win in fun, competitive live and silent auctions!
We've had a great season so far! We have been featured extensively on 98.1 KING FM, including an interview with Clinton Smith on KING FM's Arts Channel, and we've seen audiences grow with each new concert. From the return of our acclaimed production of Handel's Messiah after a three-year hiatus, to the world-renowned guest soloists who have made our 44th year of music making truly magical, OSSCS is making a big comeback on the classical music scene after the tragic death of our founder and conductor George Shangrow, which shocked the entire Pacific Northwest musical community.
We're proud to keep this legacy of musical excellence alive and look forward to fostering a community of artists who perform great works for the love of great music!
Please join us for this joyous celebration of New Growth from Deep Roots! Eat, drink, bid and watch the boats go by at the Canal!
Check in and the silent auction begin promptly at 2PM.
