Beatlemania Benefit for Ceres Marin
Beatles Tribute Band, The Sun Kings, will perform on April 24th from 8pm until 10pm at Terrapin Crossroads in The Grate Room to support The Ceres Community Project of Marin. Special guest, Michael Bluestein, keyboardist for Foreigner, will be performing and will also MC the event.
As a client of Ceres Marin, Bluestein received healing meals before, during and after his cancer treatment.
Local teen volunteers prepare nutrient-dense meals under the direction of a holistic chef in a professional kitchen using organic ingredients. The meals are then delivered to patients and families in Marin coping with serious health issues such as cancer.
The Sun Kings will be paying tribute to The Beatles' arrival in the United States at this 50th Anniversary concert using authentic arrangements and vocal harmonies. Though they do not dress up as the Beatles, The Sun Kings' ability to capture the vitality of the original music has gained them critical acclaim with Beatles purists and fans around the country.
Tickets are $35.00 in advance and $50.00 at the door. Attendees must be 16 years old for admission. Doors open at 7pm and and restaurant opens at 4pm. Open bar in the venue. A picture ID must be presented with your ticket at the door. Limited valet parking is available. Terrapin Crossroads is located at 100 Yacht Club Drive in San Rafael, Ca.
