Aveda Earth Month 2014 - 'Catwalk for Clean Water'
Aveda Indianapolis presents the 2nd annual 'Catwalk for Clean Water' Earth Month 2014 hair and fashion show. This year's event will be a Global Culture Clash - borrowing and blending colors, textures, and cultures.
Raising awareness for clean water:
- Over 1,000 Indiana waterways are polluted
- Indiana ranks 5th in the country for unsafe drinking water in schools
- 93% of Indiana's beautiful Lake Michigan shoreline is not safe for swimming
- Run off from lawn fertalizers creates a toxic blue-green algae in our Indianapolis waters
One hundred percent of all proceeds from the 'Catwalk for Clean Water' supports the Hoosier Environmental Council - raising awareness for clean water initiatives and protecting our local Indiana waterways.
Join us for an afternoon of fashion, music, and drinks to support this worthy cause!
