Berks Movie Madness Film Festival: A Night With Berks Filmmakers
Wednesday, October 11. 7 p.m. $5 admission. Spend a night with the legendary and influential Berks Filmmakers, a showcase for experimental film and video in Reading that meets regularly at Albright College. The group was founded by Gary Adlestein, Albright associate professor of English, Art and Film, along with Jerry Orr and Jerry Tartaglia. Since its founding in 1975, Berks Filmmakers has shown in-person screenings of over 200 film and video makers from around the world. This event will screen a variety of work by James Harrar, Albert Kilchesty, Elizabeth Knipe, Jerry Orr, Ida Orr, Caleb Smith, Tartaglia and others. Introduction by Jerry Orr and Adlestein.
