This exceptional Cafe Flamenco will featureseveralof the dancersappearing in San Francisco Opera's spring production of La Traviata. Acclaimedchoreographer and Caminos Flamencos Artistic Director Yaelisa was giventhe unique opportunityto create a dynamicdance sequence for the production that portraysthe opera's tragic tale of love and loss. Caminos Flamencos principal dancers Fanny Ara and Devon LaRussa will dance alongisde guest dancerTimo Nuñez (from Los Angeles)in this special sneak peak at what's in store atLa Traviata. Yaelisa, Caminos Flamencos Music Director Jason McGuire, and gypsy singer Jose Cortez will top off this evening of rich performance and expert musicianship.Refreshing beverages and authentic Spanish paellawill be available for purchase prepared by Marcos Quazada of Patatas.

The mission of Caminos Flamencos is to create and present contemporary, traditional and theatrical dance programs showcasing artists from Spain and the U.S.,that reflect the changing face of flamenco in the 21st century. Their programs seek to preserve the legacy of Spain's rich artistic heritage, and bring them to people of all backgrounds, enriching the lives of people with Spanish and Hispanic ancestry, and the community at large.
