Auxi Fernández is a dancer, born in Cádiz in 1985. She began dancing at the Pilar Ogalla School at only five years old. In 2001, she joined the renowned Sara Baras company. She has also danced in the most important tablaos (flamenco venues) in Spain, such as Casa Patas, el Corral de la Morería, el Corral de la Pacheca, Café de Chinitas, Cardamomo and El Cordobés. In 2010, she worked with masters like Jorge Pardo, María Toledo, Majid Javadi, Nantha Kumar, Pedro Eustache, Ara Malikian, Pablo Maldonado and the Paco Heredia Company. She has also participated in the Suma Flamenca Festival in Madrid. In 2011, while dancing at the tablao
El Cordobés, she shared the stage with many artists, including La Tana, Antonio Zuñiga, David Cerreduela, Juan Amaya, "El Pelón" y Olga Pericet, among others. That same year, she traveled to New York and collaborated with Rolling Stones saxophonist, Tim Reis and Chick Corea.
