| Description |
 Watch the Oscars in style. Reel Grrls invite you to a fun filled Oscar party featuring: the awards ceremony live on the big screen, gourmet dining, champagne, film trivia, awards (including best costume) and a celebration of women in film both in Hollywood and here at home. Sunday, February 22, 2009. Doors open 4:00 p.m. for the Red Carpet coverage. Admission levels are $29 for "Bubbly in the Balcony" which includes a glass of champagne and a fabulous chocolate dessert or $79 for a delicious four course gourmet dinner and a glass of champagne.
The Menu:
Soup course: Vichyssoise - French potato & leek soup.
Salad course: Oven roasted radicchio & fennel.
Omnivore entree: Sole baked en papillote.
Vegetarian entree: Squash & sage risotto.
Dessert: Bittersweet orange chocolate mousse.
Let us pamper you with an exotic banquet while you celebrate the Stars of the Screen. Ticket prices include tax and gratuity and a portion of all ticket sales goes to support Reel Grrls, the Seattle nonprofit that empowers girls through media production and film making opportunities. A La Carte tickets are available for $15.
