"Where Have All the Flowers Gone?" A Fundraiser for Art With a Heart
On May 3rd, 2014 Jealousyjane, Indiana Landmarks, Aesthetic Fabrications and The Haus of B bring you "Where Have all the Flowers Gone?" The Haus of B Premier. The Haus of B is now the fashion house that encompasses the brand you've all come to know and love Be Cool Clothing Company. Lead Designer Brad Burnell will showcase his Spring Summer 2015 collections for Be Cool Clothing Company, Be Rad Brand, and Subsistent Avant Garde and Couture all while telling the story of loneliness and love in the production of "Where Have all the Flowers Gone?", the story of Persephone and Hades.
The Haus of B will take you on the journey, back to a time where men were dapper, and romance and chivalry were of common theme. Where love was present all around us, and not just the dark of desolate winter moods. Based off of the story of Persephone and Hades, and made into designer Brad Burnell's own interpretation and story of love, loss, and nostalgia, The Haus of B will use a large cast of models, contemporary dancers, and a very special performance by DIDA RITZ, from Ru Paul's drag Race Season 4. To help tell this story, The Haus of B has asked fashion accessory designers pSnob, The House of 5th, Royal Bliss, Dana Dane Designs, and Indianapolis fashion rookie B-Fly designs to help complete each models look to perfection.
Using the human body as an artistic canvas, make up artists Sasha Star, Amanda "Chevy" Johnson, and Danelle French will be dusting the faces of The Haus of B models, while The Haus of B's creative director Brandon Owen will serve as the lead Hair Stylist during this mythological tour.
Joining The Haus of B on this night of Indianapolis artistic creation, is Sheila Ferguson, who will be showcasing the Spring and Summer 2014 collection of Jealousyjane Couture. Helping her express her vision is Jealousyjane's lead make- up artist, Annie Patrick from Inner Goddess, inc. along with hair stylist Lisa Sego.
This magnificent venue has never been used for runway before, and not only will "Where have all the flowers gone?" be serving up some of Indianapolis' finest fashion creations, but it will also serve as a gallery showcasing featured artist Erin Trimble. Guests will also be able to view 2-D work from Sheila Ferguson (Jealousy Jane), Annie Patrick (Inner Goddess, inc), Rebecca Williams (pSnob), and Brad Burnell (The Haus of B). It won't stop there, photography from Rock Candy Photo, Kerri Jean Photography, and Mike Washington Photography. It wouldn't be a complete setting if we didn't have the posh feel of EDM to accompany the visual arts, so for that we have the beats of the one and only Indianapolis resident DJ, Brandon Patrik.
We are also honored to announce a very special performance by The Pride of Cincinnati Dance Ensemble. They will be performing their program "Thistles and Weeds" which was choreographed by the incredibly talented Whitney Stone...who also was the choreographer for the dancers that perform in the Haus of B runway production.
From innovative street wear to the elegance of high end fashion....From eye catching 2-D fabrications, to the fluid movement of contemporary dance ....from ritz of live orchestral musicians to the swanky and swag of edm dj's....this event is sure to provide a full sensory overload, bringing you a night to put down in history, as a true Aesthetic Fabrication.
