Greenwood School Presents Spirit of Uganda
Greenwood School in Mill Valley is proud to host their Ugandan friends once again, this time at Dominican University's Angelico Hall.

Hailed as "first rate" and "inspiring" by The New York Times, the Spirit of Uganda is an award-winning music and dance troupe of 22 children, ages 6 to 18.

They have previously performed in such prestigious venues as the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts and at Macy's Passport Gala in San Francisco and Los Angeles. January 16 will be the only Marin County performance.

The evening is part of Spirit of Uganda's biannual fundraising tour. Money goes to help build schools, send Ugandan students to U.S. colleges, and provide for the basic food, clothing, medical and educational needs of Ugandan children through the nonprofit organization Empower African Children.

Parking is available at the Grand Avenue / Conlan Recreation Center Lot.
Overflow parking can be found at 890 Belle Avenue, which runs off
of Grand Avenue. Across from Marin Tennis Club, look for the Allen Athletics Complex.
